You Don’t Have To Keep Putting It Off
I was going to write this yesterday…
And then it turned out to be an unexpectedly bright and sunny day.
So rather than sitting at my desk, I hauled on my boots and set off down the local hiking track.
It was a glorious hike, and along the way I came up with some solid ideas…
And then when I got back, I wrote them down.
You see, like many people, I have a goal.
But not just one goal.
In fact, there’s a layered structure.
Each goal feeds into the others.
And this leads to an interesting side-effect…
Any time something feels off about a goal and I can’t put my finger on it…
Or I feel a little bit stuck…
I just work on one of my other goals for a little bit…
And like magic, I’m unstuck and everything becomes clear.
Or at least, enough that I can continue on.
Seriously. Most of us put off a ton of stuff that we just don’t have to.
And it’s even worse than that.
Sometimes we know we should do something…
And for whatever reason…
We just don’t.
Instead, we end up inside a feedback loop where we know we should just do the thing, but we can’t bring ourselves to.
The more we don’t do it, the harder it becomes to make a start.
Even when the task is tiny.
And here’s the kicker: Once we know what’s really going on, it can be effortlessly easy to just do the thing.
So I’ve put together a training on exactly how to get unstuck.
It’s way simpler than you might imagine.
In this one-on-one training we’ll cover:
- Exactly why multiple goals are important
- The simple trick I use to get stuff done
- How I get started on tasks that seem overwhelming
- Why habits beat motivation every time
- And why you still need goals
- What really matters about your goals (hint: it’s not the goal itself)
- The easy trick I use to feel happy and excited about any task
- The main causes of procrastination
- And how to beat each of them
This is a one-on-one training session with me over Zoom.
The aim is that by the end of the call, you’ll know exactly how to keep yourself moving forward.
Now, I usually book calls with start times between about 10am and 8pm New Zealand time.
That’s evenings in the US and Canada, all day in Australia, and early mornings in Europe.
So if you’d like to uncover exactly why we procrastinate and how to just stop…
If you have at least one goal you’d like to achieve…
And if you’d love to start making real progress towards that goal this year…
Click the button, complete the checkout, and I’ll email you personally to arrange a time.
